- Rhetoric is the devices and methods we use in our everyday lives to persuade, convince, or inform another person that what we are saying is true. It is how we gain a readers’ attention, It is how we keep a readers’ attention, and it’s how we direct our readers attention.
- Rhetoric takes a lot of critical thinking. It almost requires a battle plan that you don’t even know you’re creating part of the time. The way we use our words and think of what to say helps our writing become more attention-grabbing.
